How to call custom fonts in Emails & Newsletters?

Hey guys! Today we are here to see about using your own custom fonts in your business Email newsletter. There is a large difference between coding an email newsletter and coding a website. Hence your regular code for calling a font-family won’t work. Don’t worry we are here to guide you with step by step process.

So here is a regular code you use to call a font family from custom fonts

Code:
<head>
<title>Web Font Sample</title>
<style type=”text/css” media=”screen, print”>
@font-face {
font-family: “Bitstream Vera Serif Bold”;
src: url(“https://mdn.mozillademos.org/files/2468/VeraSeBd.ttf”);
}

body { font-family: “Bitstream Vera Serif Bold”, serif }
</style>
</head>

The above code is prefect and works fine but not with Email newsletters.
To define the font in your Email newsletters try calling the Google webfonts as written below

Step 1
Declare the style sheet of Google webfonts.

Code:
<linkhref=’https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Slabo+13px’ rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’>
Step 2
Declare a <style> tag for table and texts and define its attributes
Code:
<style>
table {
font-family: ‘Slabo 13px’, serif;
}
P {
font-family: ‘Slabo 13px’, serif;
}
</style>

Can you see the fonts now? If you still stuck at this don’t worry we will be glad to help you.
